Hi, we are breeders of some wonderful miniature schnauzers located in Kentucky We have blacks, black & Silvers, light and dark salt & pepper miniature schnauzers puppies available every few months with only one litter at a time now. This is easier on us and the puppies because it allows everyone to receive the same amount of attention while they are here and we find that it allows the type of socialization a schnauzer needs.
We breed high quality Miniature Schnauzers with great conformation, as well as temperatment and health.
Our puppies will be well socialized and started on potty training prior to leaving. We strive in every way to give you a beautiful healthy family member.
We strive to produce the best when it comes to the schnauzers. We do not breed for "toy nor "teacup" schnauzers at this time. Our goal is to produce 12-14 lbs schnauzers, that are 12-13 inches in height. To ensure this goal all of our schnauzers are 11-14 lbs and 11-13 inches. We can only guess a size of a miniature and note their weight on our site, however we cannot guarantee what they will become.
We are one of the few breeders that offer a 5 health guarantee for any life genetic defects this includes liver shunts. We also want you to know we will take a Snowbound schnauzer back if you can no longer take care of him/her and find a pet home for you.
Breeders are always considered for additional cost on some litters .
All babies come with their own Snowbound Personal Care Package, worming done every two weeks, dew claws removed, tails docked, training started including some basic commands. They receive 3 check ups one 2-3 day after they are born, a 6 week check up, and then they receive their final check up two days prior to going to their new homes, and AKC registration paperwork with AKC information packet. All babies bought without deposits, and are ready to go have a holding period of 72 hours for them to receive this check up, unless we already took them in to see our vet within a week time frame.
Our puppies are born in our downstair office that is now converted into our "nursery". They are handled from day one, and started on training and socialization skills at 3 weeks of age. They are allowed to roam the house starting at 6 weeks old at different times of the day. All snowbound schnauzers are use to the noise level of any household.

Will and his new pal Tim. "Just writing to tell you Tim is doing very well. Will loves him more than anything. They have such a great time together. We go for walks down by the lake, Tim loves it. He is afraid of the ducks though! He loves to wake Will up in the mornings by licking his face. We are so grateful that you pick us to care for Tim. He is part of the family now."
